(Click on above thumbnails to enlarge photos) NUDE "VENUS" HANGING OIL / RAIN LAMP for sale One of the most iconic items from the early '70's. The Nude lady, oil-rain lamp. Remember seeing these in many doctors offices as a kid? This one has been totally disassembled and cleaned inside and out (no easy task). Internally it has the later model and larger "Little Giant" pump. We have had the smaller pumps on most of the previous versions of this. It is also the model with metal, not plastic top and bottom caps. This one looks new, but is approx. 30 years old. The Mono-filaments are all perfectly intact and tight. None of the typical "yellowing" of the filaments or caked on dust from years of not being cleaned. Entire lamp was disassembled for restoration. Bronze finish intact and all looks new. All the plastic foliage has been removed and cleaned as well. The internal pump tube is clean and the motor / pump runs well. This is the large one with the double rows of mono-filament and the "nude" lady. It's the one! Chain / AC cord about 8 feet long. Measures 36+ inches tall from tip to tip and 13" in diameter. (Investigate others carefully before deciding that this one is "too much money". Most have all the internal parts dust covered and their internal tubes and pump will be "gunked" up with oil / dust. Simply disassembling and cleaning of one will take 4-8 hours.) This one is fully restored and ready to use! $495.

This is one "solidly built" chair. You could park a car on it. One of the "coolest" looking pieces of furniture we have ever seen. Very impressive looking in "real life". Measures 28" wide x 28" tall at rear tube & 12" high at front tube. Pads are 4.5" thick. Tube diameters are 2" and chair weighs 40 lbs unpacked. Cond. 9.5++ $595. Cond. 9.5 SOLD 4/23/07		(click on above thumbnails to enlarge photos) RETRO & COOL "Fly-Out POKER CHIP CADDY circa late 1950's early '60's SOLD for sale These are about the coolest poker chip caddies ever designed. Turn the knob on the top and all the poker chip compartments "splay" out to reveal 12 chip tubes with each holding ~22 chips. This one is actually coming with approximately 240 high quality plastic chips. These are not the cheesy feeling, wimpy chips you get today with the fluted edges from China, but "old style" heavy, smooth chips that feel much like the 1930's Catalin chips I personally have. The chips have 4 Aces impressed on them. There is also space in the top for 2 full decks of cards and this also comes with a couple of decks of older Schlumberger playing cards. It is in perfect cosmetic and working condition. Very smooth action when the knob is turned both in or out. No hang-up, mis-tracking, broken or cracked parts. With the exception of surface wear to the flip-down handles, it looks near new. The top and bottom are gold in color with a "palm tree" motif pattern with the tubes being dark brown plastic. Made in the late 50's to early 60's in the USA! Measures 9.5 in diameter when closed and 13" when opened x 5" high. Weighs 5 lbs unpacked and loaded with chips / cards. Cond. 9 SOLD

AC powered. Has built-in AC outlet for tree lights that turns with tree. Music can be turned on or off. Makes a complete rotation in 2 minutes. All metal construction, built in the USA. These were notorious for having the welds break on the tightening bolts and this one has had the nuts re-welded for years more use. Fits trees up to 3.75" in diameter. Supposedly they were designed for artificial or natural trees, but you are not supposed to put water in them so probably best used only for artificial trees or natural trees that you don't need looking good for a long time. Original Gold finish with Silver Sparkles looks great. Unit looks and works great. (does not include plastic adaptor ring for smaller diameter trees, but still holds them fine).
